Sandisk increases capacity of SD, miniSD, RS-MMC Cards and Memory Sticks
Next newsSandisk on Tuesday upgraded a range of its storage devices. Starting in November, the company will offer SD cards with a capacity of 2 GByte ($200), a 4 GByte Memory Stick Pro ($800) and a Memory Stick Pro Duo storing up to 1 GByte ($205). For cell phone applications, the manufacturer introduced a 512 MByte miniSD card for $70 and RS-MMc cards with 256 and 512 MByte ($50 and $70), which also will become available worldwide in November, Sandisk said.
