Nanya and PSC still see profit potential in commodity DRAM

Although Micron Technology reported improved financial results last quarter by moving away from commodity DRAM, Taiwan-based vendors including Nanya Technology and Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) stated that, despite declining DRAM prices, they can achieve profits by lowering their production costs, and they do not plan to shift their focus to non-memory businesses.
