VIDEO: Michael Dell Shows Off the Mini 5
Dell very briefly showed off its 5-inch MID, the Mini 5, at CES this year. With little to go on, we were forced to resort to a demonstration video from 2009. Now, we have something a little more official.
One of the lads over at TechCrunch recently stopped Michael Dell (CEO) at World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The Chief Executive stood in the snow in his parka and fingerless gloves and gave a brief demo of the Mini 5.
Mr Dell detailed that the device packs a 5-megapixel camera, runs on Android, has 3G and will be "out in a couple of months." We're intrigued!

tsnorquist Not a Dell fan for the most part, but from the quick overview it looks pretty good. I hope they've addressed some of the bugs in the Android operating system.Reply
Can't wait to hear the tech inside of this gadget. -
mayne92 huskerPretty funny, the interviewer thought Michael Dell was just some salesman.I think he was just trying to be funny the whole time...Reply -
Abrahm Looks like a nice tablet. Another positive step for the Android OS, the best mobile OS available.Reply -
idisarmu I want to slap that interviewer in the face for being disrespectful. He was being very pushy and trying to get information that Mr. Dell was reluctant to give out.Reply -
Good for Dell! I think Apple thinks its all and a bag of chips and their not. They just know how to put a bunch of China parts together that look nice. Finally the rest are starting to do the same for less. Steve Jobs can sit at home with his iPad. I will find something better.Reply
