EKWB Shows Asus Maximus VI Motherboard Water-Blocks

EKWB has announced a new water block made specifically for Asus' flagship Maximus VI Extreme motherboard. The water block is meant to cool all the parts on the motherboard that need cooling, including the VRM circuitry, the Z87 southbridge, as well as the PLX PEX 8474 PCIe lane splitter.

The water block is also built using EKWB's 'high-flow' design, meaning that it can be used in larger, more complex loops, or in loops with weaker water pumps. The block only requires two G1/4" fittings due to the one-piece design.

EKWB has released the water block in four different versions. One version will be simply a nickel-plated version; another will be nickel-plated with an acetyl cover. The other two are identical to the first two, but they feature the original CSQ design.

All of the units are already available through EKWB's webshop with an MSRP of $173.05.
