SALE! Weekend Offer: Left 4 Dead 40% Off
Yesterday Steam announced that it was offering gamers 24 hours of L4D for free, but what kind of service would Steam be if it got you hooked on a game and didn't offer you a means to feed your addiction?
In addition to the 24-hour free trial that started a little after 4 p.m. yesterday, Left 4 Dead is now on sale at 40 percent off until Monday, May 4th. Personally, we think they would have done well with just the free trial. A lot of people would have forked out full price after a full day of gaming but hey, who are we to judge?
As with yesterday’s free trial, L4D includes the recently released Survival Pack DLC, which introduces a new multiplayer game mode and two additional Versus campaigns. There’s also still time for you guys to try out the game for free (there’s roughly 10 free hours left) so go nuts.

yes, game is great, very addicting like tf2 and most valve games. the orange box $10 deal was better though. i am tempted to grab a second copy for my 2nd pc so when my cheap friends come over, we can coop. -

ahslan just got the orange box deal last weekend (even though I own hl2 and hl2 episode 1 and have finished episode 2 and portal on friends computer) and it was a way better deal than this...I played the demo for L4D and seemed really fun, but for now TF2 is going to be the center of my attention...Reply -

Yeah but then you own an actual hard copy. Always preferable when you reformat every once in a while. Keeps the HDD clean too.
To each his own. Personally, i could wait 5 days no problem. Builds the anticipation :)
