With the CINT SPEC benchmark (based on a Dell PowerEdge 1750 workstation with 3.06 GHz Xeon), the version with the L3 cache results in an increase of 16.2 percent. With a CFP benchmark it is 11.7 percent. Particularly with the CFP benchmark, the dual Opteron from AMD is in the lead.
