Acer Announces Two New Android 4.0 Phones
Acer announces two budget-friendly Android smartphones.
With IFA just around the corner, Acer hopes to get a head start on all of the major Android manufacturers with its two Android 4.0 smartphones - the Liquid Gallant and Liquid Gallant Duo. Both phones are equipped with a 4.3-inch qHD display, 1GHz MT6575 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD compatibility and a 5 MP rear camera.
Other specs include a 1,500maH battery, LED flash and audio-improving software. The only difference between the two phones is that the Liquid Gallant Duo features a dual SIM card design. While the specs pale in comparison to today's mobile powerhouses, they do suggest the phones will probably come in at a budget-friendly price.
While Acer revealed the phones will be available in "Gentle Black" or "Ceramic White," no specifics were given on pricing just yet. You can expect to hear more about the phones as their September release date approaches. For the full release, click here.
Forget white.
How about square icons and round corners.
Also, how about putting Jelly Bean on these phones????
As long as it works for 2-3 years without breaking, and cheap, this should sell.
In canada they have 3 year contracts lol
Eh?
