SiS recently announced that Axper, a motherboard brand established by Gigabyte Technology to target the entry-level segment, will utilize the SiS761GX northbridge and SiS964 southbridge chipsets for its upcoming AMD Sempron-based XP-M8S761GX motherboard.
The SiS761GX in conjunction with the SiS964 southbridge fully supports PCI Express (PCIe) x16 and regulates CPU speeds and frequencies while achieving power-saving efficiency, according to SiS.
