OCZ adds two more 2 GByte gamer memory kits

Just in case you are still keeping track of the memory kits for gamers that are popping up for the Christmas season, here is another one for your shopping list. OCZ has begun shipping a "Gold GX XTC" variant of its PC-3200 and 4000 memory in 2 GByte kits, consisting of two 1024 MByte modules. According to the manufacturer, the devices come with the firm's new honeycomb heatspreader for improved thermal dissipation.

The PC-3200 (DDR-400) memory is rated at 2-3-3-8 timings; the PC-4000 (DDR-500) version comes in at 3-4-3-8. Pricing has not been announced.
