Pretec intros 8 GB USB stick

Pretec has begun shipping a Flash-based USB stick with a capacity of 8 GB.
The company claims that the "i-Disk II" will reach data transfer rates of 25 MB/s (166x). The device currently sells for about $590 in Europe and is expected to be available in January.
