Oblivion

Lastly we come to the crippler: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Our settings are maxed out to show the weaknesses in graphics cards. The pure rendering horsepower of a card can be shown under these conditions. At this level none of the cards can play the outdoor scene within our minimum 30 fps level. Indoors is different as all of the cards except the GeForce 7600 GT can maintain 30 fps at 2048x1536. Turning down the settings makes most of the cards able to play the game but there are major impacts to the image quality and view distances. Oblivion is an eye candy single player game that should be played with the settings turned up.
