Conclusion
Before you buy an XPC SB77G5 you should know exactly what you intend to do with it. Although the SFF PC can be fitted with the latest CPUs, you'll have to make do with an AGP graphics card. The memory interface is only compatible with an older standard, too.
However, anyone who still has hardware lying around at home should go ahead and get this new XPC. The cooling system is a real plus point, as it hums along at an acceptable noise level even with a 3.4 GHz Prescott CPU. And again, with Socket 775 on board, you also have the option of upgrading later to an even faster CPU. On the flip side, the memory and graphics interfaces are based on already outdated standards.
If you don't have any extra hardware to spare, you'll be better off paying the extra $50 for the SB81P, which is equipped with PCI Express for graphics cards, or another $50 on top of that for a SFF PC with PCIe and DDR-II memory.
