Four GeForce 9600 GT Cards Compared
Sparkle Control
The enclosed control unit can be put in an external hard drive slot and operate on three different speeds: Green, Standard (Nvidia reference for 9600 GT), and OC (Overclocked). The last setting is the default for the P960 test card when the control unit is not connected.
To activate the speed control, you must connect the control unit to the 3D board with a cable; the current mode is then shown on the display. If you want to switch the mode, you can just press a button, but you will have to restart the system for the change to take effect. Restarting the system is somewhat inconvenient, but the control unit works independent of the graphics driver.

Green: GPU 300 MHz, shader 900 MHz, and memory 400 MHz.Standard: GPU 650 MHz, shader 1,625 MHz, and memory 900 MHz.OC: GPU 700 MHz, shader 1,850 MHz, and memory 1,000 MHz.
