Archos Launching Three Android Smartphones in May

Archos, a firm best known for its affordable Android tablets, will launch three smartphones powered by Google's mobile platform in May.

Another device in Archos' upcoming slate is the Archos 52 Titanium, a 5.2-inch smartphone running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Although its price has yet to be unveiled, it'll be a more affordable option with a 480 x 800-pixel display and a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, as well as 512 MB of RAM.

Joining the aforementioned phones is the low-end Archos 35 Carbon. It offers a 3.5-inch 320 x 480-pixel screen, a single-core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of internal storage, which can be expanded through a microSD card. It'll also run on Ice Cream Sandwich and will retail for about $120.
