You Can Now Link Your Steam and Twitch Accounts

Streaming service Twitch.tv is striking some important deals this year. It was announced last month at E3 2013 that Xbox and Twitch would be buddying up to allow gamers to broadcast their Xbox One gameplay. Now, Twitch has announced a partnership with Steam to allow Dota 2 fans to tune into Twitch for live broadcasts of matches and receive tournament drops in-game.

Though little else has come out of the Steam-Twitch partnership thus so far, no doubt there's more to come. Valve has hinted as much via the Dota 2 blog, which stated that: "We hope to expand on the features available via this system and would love to hear what you think we should work on next."

Could this mean live broadcasts on Twitch via the Steam client? Considering that the PS4 and Xbox One are going to allow easy gameplay broadcasting via their respective deals with Ustream and Twitch.tv, it could be possible (if maybe a bit of a reach.)
