On Wednesday, Corsair launched a new mid-tower PC case featuring "dramatic," angular styling thanks to a sculpted, "aggressively styled" steel exterior. Called the Graphite Series 230T, this chassis arrives in Battleship Grey, Rebel Orange, and Black sporting color coordinated LED intake fans (blue, orange and red, respectively) and a tinted side panel window. So pretty.
"Our Graphite Series cases are designed to be visually exciting, with a design aesthetic that reflects their superior performance and quality," said Xavier Lauwaert, Director of Product Marketing at Corsair. "The Graphite Series 230T exemplifies this, making it a great platform for gaming PCs, graphics design workstations, or any application where high performance and high style both matter."
According to the specs, this case provides four 2.5 inch, four 3.5 inch and three 5.25 inch tool-free drive bays. There are also six fan mount locations: two 120 mm (included, with LEDs) on the front, one 120 mm (included, no LEDs) on the back, two 140 or 120 mm on the top (not included), and one 140/120 mm fan on the bottom (not included).
The case supports ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards, and provides seven tool-free expansion slots for multi-GPU compatibility. The case also features cable routing cutouts in the motherboard tray, a CPU cutout for easy CPU cooler upgrades, and two removable air filters located in the front intake and under the power supply.
The front panel provides two USB 3.0 ports, headphone and microphone jacks, and the power and reset buttons. The side panel is secured with thumbscrews and sports a tinted window for peeking into the matte black interior. The overall size of this box is 21.7 x 8.2 x 17.3 inches, and the weight is 13.6 pounds.
The Graphite Series 230T retails for $79.99 USD and is available now from Corsair's worldwide network of authorized distributors and retailers. The case is backed by a two year warranty and Corsair's customer service and technical support.
