Prolimatech Introduces Basic-Series CPU Coolers

Prolimatech is feeling the pressure of various manufacturers making affordable all-in-one water cooling solutions. In response, it has decided to launch several new 'Basic' series CPU coolers. While these are not intended to compete with the liquid coolers, they should offer an effective cooling solution for notably less of that stuff found in your wallet.

The release will bring five new coolers: the Basic 45, the Basic 48, the Basic 65, the Basic 68, and the Basic 81. The Basic 45 weighs 288 grams with two 6 mm copper heat pipes. It is cooled by a 92 mm PWM fan that can rotate at speeds between 1,000 RPM and 2,000 RPM. The Basic 48 is its premium brother, which remains identical except that it features three nickel-plated heat pipes, resulting in a weight of 309 grams.

The Basic 65 is a cooler with a PWM 120 mm fan that can spin at speeds between 600 RPM and 1,600 RPM. The block features three 6 mm heat pipes. As with the Basic 48, the Basic 68 is the premium brother that is identical except it features four heat pipes instead of three.

In conclusion, the Basic 81 is nothing but a rebranded Megahalems Basic. It weighs 748 grams, features six 6 mm heat pipes, and the same 120 mm fan that is found on the Basic 65 and Basic 68.
