CES 2007: Asus shows off external graphics for notebooks
Source: Tom's Hardware US – Category : Miscellaneous 0 comment
Las Vegas (NV) - Asus's big product at CES Unveiled was their XG Station, an external graphics solution which turns a run-of-the-mill notebook into a gaming machine.
Featuring a high-end graphics card, Dolby surround sound and a simple overclocking knob; as well as a full display showing the status of the graphics card (including heat, handy for that overclocking) and the Frames Per Second you're getting.
Plug the XG station into an LCD monitor and the labtop via the PCI slot and you're away and a hack. The station will be relased at the beginning of Q2.
