More liquid-nitrogen madness takes place at Gigabyte.

Gigabyte hosts an international overclocking competition every year, with regionals around the world that finally end in a grand face-off in Taipei, Taiwan, at Gigabyte's headquarters. Get a load out of what went down this year in Los Angeles with all the photos that were snapped. We'll be covering the finals in Taiwan in full detail, so look out for that coming soon!

The winner of the LA competition was Jeremy Clifton, otherwise known as Sno.Icn. Clifton along with Michael Graf (mikeguava), both won an all-expenses paid for round trip to Taipei for a chance to win the grand-champion title.

Whats the propane torch for? Just in case someone takes a drink from one of the mugs of LN2 expecting a hot sip of coffee and instead gets a mouthful of freeze that they need to thaw really really fast?

All expense? That includes food, hotel, and possibly prostitutes right?

What about the purchase of video games? A new TV? =p

Anyway.... I can't wait to see the finals, I bet the speeds are going to be ridiculous.
