Intel to restructure 1-way server product range

Intel will redefine its 1-way server product range into high-end and entry-level lines in order to tune to the growing adoption of servers for personal or home office use, according to industry sources.

Intel's high-end server products will feature its Kentsfield (Clovertwon) quad-core processor, the Xeon 3200, or its dual-core Conroe Xeon 3000 processor, while entry-level products will be based on the Xeon 3000 or the Pentium D series, sources with Taiwan's server makers indicated.
