Rhode Island represent! oh, wait... we're null & void from Tom's Contests...
CONGRATS!!
CG. Wish that was me up there
damn, I forgot to enter
not that I would have won
Gratz guys!!
Congrats. If one of you decides you don't want the PC, I'll be MORE than happy to take it off your hands ;-)
I think on the budget gamer build, it would be cool to limit your the budget to around the most expensive consoles+ an OS. A budget PC vs a console. Consoles may be 4 years old, but it's a guaranteed performance. That would be a real price/performance comparison.
Lucky bastards, that Performance PC looks so freacking sexy.
wtf...didn't you guys get my bribe money?
Alright, time to steal somebody's identity.

Really gotta hate the legality that prevents contests from being set up easily in RI.
Well, I figured I wouldn't win, at least someone from VA did
I'd partake of these contests if it didn't involve registering a Twitter or Facebook account in order to enter. How about a plain old "sign up via email contest", Tom?
How about some contest love for Canada, eh?
How about some contest love for Canada, eh?
I'm 40 KM too far north to be eligible!
*Sigh* I know I'll never win any of these things... but it's fun to think I will!
Just to have an idea of the possibilities, can you tell exactly how much people entered the contest? Or at least an assumption. Wish I was up there
No love for anyone that doesn't live in america
congrats to the winners

Well, you missed your chance then because these SBM givaways dont involve any kind of subscription. To enter all you have to do is follow a link on the page and enter the obvious info(where you live, name) and thats it, your enetered. Goog luck next time LOL
Congrats! Enjoy some high quality gaming fun!
Great, for my bad, this SBM is only for the US and I'm from Colombia...so...

It's your State lawmakers fault. Not Toms Hardware's fault.
congrats guys..have fun and keep it loading @ 100 percent
What I'd like to see in future contests is me winning.
What I'd like to see is Canada being eligible.
Big congrats to all the winners! I would have been extremely happy even with just the low end, woulda converted it into a smoking HTPC.

You can't build a gaming PC for $200. If you want to compare computers with consoles and build a $400 720p gaming machine (which is what the PS3 80gb [fat] was), then that is quite doable now. Get an Athlon II 245 or something, 4670 or 5570 or something like that, and 4gb of cheap ddr3 ram.

Seriously Rhode Islanites, you need to get over this. It's your own state laws that basically make it nearly impossible for anyone to run a nationwide contest that includes your state. It's not Tom's fault, and I'm sure that Tom's staff holds no ill-will towards the citizens of your tiny state. If you don't like being excluded, petition your state legislators to overturn the law.
Its the same reason Google pulled-out of China, local laws made it too difficult to properly manage their business assets. Rhode Island laws make it too difficult to conduct a nationwide contest that includes RI residents. Google chose not to operate within mainland China and Tom's chooses not to operate (their contests) within mainland Rhode Island. Of course, if you think anyone in China gives a crap about your woes, think again. They have real problems to deal with.
So jealous... luckyyy~!
Congrats to the winners! And this is the last time I have AIG manage my entries into online contests. Crash and burn, crash and burn.

Congrats to your state government on failing
