Firmware Update

AMT firmware can be updated independently from the motherboard BIOS.
IAMT Terminal Tool: BIOS Remote Control
The Terminal Tool, which we tried, can be used to access a target PC's BIOS via SOL (Serial-over-LAN). It basically creates serial connection over a network. We used the tool to access the BIOS, which offers even more options than AMT's standard management features. Effectively, you can easily make all changes from a remote location. You also use the Terminal Tool to define disk redirects (to boot from remote boot drives).
