A powerful gaming PC for a brilliant price
Newegg aren't dropping the ball when it comes to discounts right now. This retailing behemoth has slashed the price of yet another gaming PC, giving you the opportunity to score a powerful rig, one that's more than ready for 1080p gaming, for less than $1,000. You can pick up this ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC for just $999.99 on Newegg right now, making it one of the most affordable pre-built machines out there for gaming at 1080p.
The system comes with an Intel Core i5-14400F processor, along with a current-gen Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory, and a 1TB SSD.
The ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC comes with a 10-core Intel Core i5-14400F CPU, an Nvidia GeForce GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card, a 1TB NVMe SSD with Gen 4 speeds, and 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. This mid-range gaming desktop rig is ready for 1080p gaming.
Yes, this isn't the most powerful machine out there, but you'll struggle to find a competitor that offers similar performance for less than $1,000. You'll also need to price in the current state of the market, with the cost of storage and memory rapidly rising. This ABS machine, a brand owned and operated by Newegg itself, delivers decent specs without breaking the bank.
You're focusing on 1080p gaming with this rig, especially with these specs. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 has 3,840 CUDA cores, along with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM. It's a just-above entry-level GPU, beating the RTX 5050's performance, while also featuring the latest Nvidia goodies, including DLSS 4 support. Multi-frame generation is one DLSS 4 feature that's particularly useful on a GPU like this, giving you a helpful, AI-generated frame rate boost in any seriously resource-heavy games.
The Intel Core i5-14400F CPU, meanwhile, continues to be well-sold in many pre-built rigs in 2025. It features 10 cores, six of which are performance cores that deliver the best gaming performance. The other four, meanwhile, are efficiency cores, which are good for multi-threaded tasks. This CPU's clock can boost up to 4.7 GHz, too. The Intel i5-14400F falls behind its AMD rivals, but this is a rig for 1080p gaming, so it doesn't much matter.

You're also getting 32GB of GSkill Ripjaws V Series DDR4-3200 memory. No DDR5 here, but given RAM costs at the moment, we expect to see an extended lifespan for DDR4 machines. 1TB of SSD storage ensures enough space for a couple of big game installs, with the Kingston SNV3S M.2 2280 module offering Gen 4 speeds.
There's a lot of doom and gloom surrounding the consumer PC market at the moment. The increase in RAM and SSD prices is serious, and we're not expecting it to get better any time soon. A $999.99 sale price for a PC with these specs might be as good as it gets for a while, so if you're looking for a 1080p-capable gaming machine, this ABS Cyclone Aqua rig is a formidable option to consider.
