Land an RTX 5080 gaming PC deal with 64GB of RAM for just $2,279 — this factory-reconditioned rig saves you hundreds of dollars, RAM and GPU alone worth $1,938 in today's market
A high-spec gaming rig
If you're in the market for a new gaming pc and the prices of individual components for your own build are making you balk, the next best option is to start hunting for a decently priced prebuilt machine with the specs that you require. Spotted at retailer Woot, there's an MSI Aegis R2 AI (B2NVV9-1411U) gaming rig available for just $2,279.99. This gaming rig is cheap considering the components inside, and the reason for the large discount is that this PC is factory reconditioned and has therefore had its price reduced to reflect that it isn't quite a brand-new machine.
The prebuilt MSI Aegis R2 AI B2NVV9-1411US gaming PC in this deal features an Nvidia RTX 5080 graphics card, an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, a 2TB SSD, and a massive 64GB of DDR5-6000 RAM. To give you an idea of how good this deal is in the current economic climate, just the RAM on its own is $679, and the cheapest RTX 5080 GPU listed is $1,259 at Newegg. That's $1,938 for just two components. It would leave you with $341 to try to build the rest of the PC yourself. Obviously, you don't get to choose the manufacturer of the components when you purchase a prebuilt, so there are always pros and cons to buying a prebuilt over building your own PC.
This factory-reconditioned MSI gaming PC features an Nvidia RTX 5080 graphics card, an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, a 2TB SSD, and a massive 64GB of DDR5-6000 RAM. This is a powerful gaming rig that will not have any issues with the latest game releases.
The Nvidia RTX 5080 graphics card used in this MSI PC is one of the most powerful GPUs on the market. In our benchmark testing from the review of the RTX 5080, we found that the only GPUs to top its performance were the flagship RTX 4090 and RTX 5090 graphics cards from Nvidia.

In case you missed it above, please note that this MSI gaming PC has been factory reconditioned and is not brand-new, straight off the shelf. If you hover over the "Condition" section, Woot describes how these PCs have been "returned, inspected, and restored to fully working condition by the manufacturer, MSI, and are as close to new as you can get without technically being new". This MSI PC comes with a manufacturer's warranty of 180 days.
Given the value, these PCs are limited to purchases of three per customer, and the sale is due to end on February 3 at 12 am CT, if it doesn't sell out in the meantime. If that $2,279 price tag is still over budget, there are a multitude of other, cheaper MSI PCs on sale in the same factory reconditioned state.
