Over on the Dell website, there's a tasty $100 discount on one of Dell's latest Alienware monitors. The Alienware AW2725Q is now available for $799.99, down from $899.99, which is great news if you're looking for a QD-OLED monitor with an incredibly crisp resolution. The sharp picture means that your games should look amazing, with well-defined graphics. Other media, such as movies and TV shows, will also benefit from the high 4K resolution, offering a cinematic experience. The contrast and color reproduction of the OLED panel will add even more to the overall enjoyment of this gaming monitor.

The Alienware AW2725Q uses a QD-OLED panel with a 4K resolution, which isn't all that common, especially for a smaller 27-inch monitor. As a result, you’ll find that the AW2725Q offers a crisp 166 pixels per inch (PPI), which I believe is the highest density currently available for a QD-OLED gaming monitor. This means that the detail on this screen is going to be amazingly sharp, perfect for gaming or productivity work.

Dell Alienware AW2725Q : was $899.99 now $799.99 at Dell

Dell's Alienware AW2725Q monitor features a very high 166 PPI pixel density, thanks to the 4K 3840 x 2160 pixels on the 27-inch screen. On top of that, the AW2725Q uses a QD-OLED panel for a 0.03ms response time and amazing contrast and color reproduction.

Even though we've highlighted the excellent 166 PPI of this monitor, another important feature of this gaming monitor is the maximum panel refresh rate of 240Hz, which is supported when using the HDMI 2.1 port. As long as you have a powerful enough graphics card, you will be able to achieve high refresh rates on this screen. The response time is 0.03ms, which is typical for OLED gaming monitors, and as you’d expect from a high-end gaming panel, the AW2725Q supports both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync technologies to help prevent screen tearing in high-motion games.
