Gaming monitors are one of the most important choices you can make in your gaming setup. It doesn't matter how powerful your PC or games console is if you don't have the screen to output all those gorgeous graphics on. OLED panels have filtered down from televisions into the computer monitor market, and over the last few years, have become much more mainstream, with prices dropping to more affordable levels for the average PC/console gamer. Woot is on hand today to help get Samsung's Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) into your hands for just $564.99, the lowest price we've seen for this display. This represents a savings of $335 from the list price and is also $85 cheaper than Samsung's officially discounted special offer price on the identical monitor, direct from Samsung.
OLED screens are known for their famously deep blacks and stunning contrast. Thanks to rapid response times and refresh rates that put the best IPS displays to shame, OLED displays are a fantastic choice for gamers. The Odyssey G6 QD-OLED (G60SD) has a 0.03ms response time, enabled by OLED technology, which eliminates ghosting and makes gameplay feel exceptionally smooth. OLED also provides a wide color gamut, spectacular contrast, and stunning HDR images. This model fields a QHD (1440p) resolution and a blisteringly fast 360 Hz refresh rate.
This 27-inch OLED monitor sports a 1440p resolution and a blisteringly fast 360 Hz refresh rate. Supports FreeSync Premium Pro from AMD and has a premium metal finish, as well as a matte display.
Samsung's Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) is both FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync compatible, helping to eliminate or reduce any screen tearing or frame mismatch issues you may encounter when using variable refresh rates (VRR) in games. To prevent the chances of screen burn-in, the Odyssey OLED G6 has OLED panel protection features built in to mitigate the damage of prolonged bright image assets on screen. On the rear of the monitor, there are 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4, and 2x USB 3.0 ports. The monitor does not include built-in speakers, but if you should need it, there is also a 3.5mm headphone audio jack next to the video inputs.
