AMD will launch the performance/mainstream RS780 next-generation IGP chipset and value segment RS740 in January next year, while in the second quarter, the company will launch the high-end RS780D and mainstream RS780C, according to sources at motherboard makers. RS780 motherboards will be priced around $90-120, while RS740 motherboards will be priced around $40-60.
