published Micron Technology is showing more aggressiveness in the deployment of NAND flash solutions, especially in delivering its new "managed NAND" solutions with an embedded multimedia card (MMC) controller. NAND flash made an eight-fold jump on year in contributions to the Micron's revenues in the first quarter of 2006, and according to data from iSuppli, the company ranked as the fifth-largest global NAND flash supplier with a 2.9 % market share in the first quarter.
