Crucial P510 1 TB PCIe 5.0 solid-state drive is record-low $84.99, or 55% off— cheapest per-TB offer in this speed class
Stocks aren't likely to last; grab these while you can.
What's the best deal on a latest-generation, mighty fast PCIe 5.0 M.2 solid-state drive? It's the Crucial MP510 1 TB, available at B&H Photo, for a mere $84.99, or a mighty 55% off its regular price.
That price, good folks, is a historical low for a darn speedy drive with a PCIe 5.0 interface—just what the doctor ordered for a system and/or games drive, or anything else that can make use of those blistering speeds. The silly-low $84.99 figure is both a historical low and also the cheapest per-terabyte figure we've seen for a drive of this speed class.
All-time low price
The Crucial MP510 1 TB drive is at an all-time price low. This drive can do blistering 9,500 MB/s read and 11,000 MB/s write speeds, an 1.6 million IOPS. Micron also offers a five-year manufactuer warranty.
When we reviewed this drive, we praised its good all-around performance, sustained performance, and power efficiency. To make it extra-clear, even though Crucial positions this drive as a budget PCIe 5.0 option, the performance is anything but, often surpassing that of more expensive models. Now that the price has been lowered to $84.99 at B&H Photo, this slab o' bytes is a no-brainer purchase, whether be it inside a PC, laptop, or a PlayStation 5. Here's how it stacks up in our benchmark testing:
The Crucial P510 1 TB' sequential operation speeds are rated for a whopping 9,500 MB/s on reads and 11,000 MB/s on writes, while random I/O kicks in at an almost server-grade 1.5 million random read/write IOPS. Any worries about the drive's endurance should be easily assuaged thanks to the 600 TBW figure. Micron, which makes this drive, is pretty confident that the G9 TLC NAND chips therein can hold up to any load, as it offers a five-year manufacturer's warranty coverage.
We are fairly certain that stock will be running out quickly and the deal won't last long, so we'd advise you to get it in your Cyber Monday shopping cart sooner rather than later.
