Access Time
The winner is very obvious, as the flash SSD has virtually no access time.
Interface Performance
This benchmark is important to determine the maximum throughput for a drive at the interface. This has nothing to do with the effective throughput to and from the medium, but reflects only interface bandwidth. It is higher for the Seagate hard drives, as these can read data out of their built-in cache memory faster than from the rotating platters.
