Gigabyte GA-8PENXP: Is PAT Activated? Continued
Traditional dual BIOS.
ITE GigaRAID chip.
Many accessories.
Our assessment in brief: the GA-8PENXP is convincing in terms of performance and equipment. On top of this, it only costs just under $200 and offers the same features as the GA-8KNXP with Intel 875P chipset. The high performance level leads us to surmise that GibaByte has also activated the fast memory access PAT in the case of the 865PE. The manufacturer was not prepared to comment on this, however.
