Following HTC's confirmation of a new device announcement due next week, which is believed to the Droid DNA, a leaked official image of the smartphone has surfaced.
The Droid DNA bears a striking resemblance to the HTC J Butterfly, which recently launched in Japan. The specs are said to include a 5-inch screen with a resolution equaling a 1080p HD TV. Due to a screen resolution of 1,080x1,920 pixels, a total of 440 pixels per inch (PPI) would be delivered. For some perspective, the iPhone 5's retina display offers a PPI of 326.
The smartphone is expected to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, as well as being powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz processor and Adreno 320 GPU.
Other key features includes 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, an 8 or 12 megapixel camera and a 2,500 mAh battery.
HTC and its exclusive carrier for the phone, Verizon, will announce the device on November 13 at 11 AM in New York. A release date is said to be scheduled a week later on November 20.

jdog2pt0 *sigh* I wish they'd release some of these super-phones with a damn keyboard. My Samsung Stratosphere is nice, but it doesn't really hold a candle to anything made recently. (I don't like what Motorola has to offer)Reply -
SinisterSalad Wow. A leaked photo of a phone that looks like every other smartphone. How exciting.Reply -
Those specs are not consistent with other articles on this device.Reply
