An upcoming board game for the Switch pits you against your friends in a race to steal loot.

Best Buy and Amazon opened pre-orders for the retro game console this morning, and within minutes, both retailers sold through all of their stock.

Nintendo said the $380 bundle includes the Switch console, a digital copy of "Splatoon 2," a "fresh" carrying case, and a pair of Joy-Con controllers in the Neon Green and Neon Pink color variants.

All you have to do is check the News app for "Breath of the Wild" tips, press a button, and return to the game to collect your new items.

Nintendo announced that the SNES Classic, a modernized reproduction of its 16-bit console, will be available for pre-order in late August.

The company plans to continue making other members of the 3DS lineup, including the upcoming New Nintendo 2DS XL, but this could be a sign of a shifting focus to the Switch.

The company also announced a new book devoted to the concept art behind Link and Zelda's latest adventure.

Nintendo revealed more information about the various game modes, companion smartphone app, and free demo, among other things, for "Splatoon 2."

The update will ensure that "players who are behind in online matches will receive items geared toward catching up more frequently."
