Qimonda And AMD To Partner For Launch Of GDDR5

Qimonda today announced that the company has won AMD as launch partner for the new graphics standard GDDR5. Qimonda already started mass production and the volume shipping of GDDR5 512 Mbit components with a speed of 4.0 Gbps to AMD.

With as much speed on their memory, hope their RV770 GPU and onboard Physics will blind us with graphic power. For now it sound good!
