First Galaxy Nexus Sold in UK, Owner Has to Exchange It
Android fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the Galaxy Nexus. Though the phone still doesn't have a U.S. release date, the phone launched in the United Kingdom Thursday. Sadly, it seems the first phone sold was just a little bit screwy
Samsung UK on Thursday morning proudly tweeted this picture of the UK's first Galaxy Nexus owner. Sadly, it seems that toothy grin didn't last long. When Alex Ioannou got home, he realised that something was amiss. According to Engadget, he had trouble syncing with Gmail because the normal account set-up options were missing.
"Instead, his phone was apparently preloaded with a bunch of weird dev stuff -- including the handy option to 'Report a WTF condition,'" writes Sharif Sakr.
Alex has apparently since confirmed that he got a brand new Galaxy Nexus that is in perfect working order. However, neither Samsung nor Google have explained what was wrong with the first handset they sold in the UK.

WTF?
wtf on arrival - wtfoa!
a development version of the phone?
Ouch...
that shit was a collector's item. returning it? fail.
Really goes to show how AWESOME the google dev atmosphere must be!
A WTF button is genius and should be included on all devices.
I'm loling hard. Report a WTF condition. Awesome!
WTFRMA??
Nothing screwy here; it was a dev phone that got packaged by mistake for retail.
A-plus for the WTF button.
For now on, all android phones should have a WTF button.
Apple may not patent that.
would've been wortha bundle
kala re vlaka to girises pisw????
Disfimisi tis ellinikis eksipnadas eisai re file , an einai dinaton...
After you press Apples WTF button, you would get a popup saying you are holding it wrong.
Another Faildroid device on the market. Just give in to the Dark Side and give Apple your soul.
I'm sure they did this on purpose, what are the chances of it being the first phone? great viral publicity and free advertisement! I wonder if google patented the WTF button, would be pretty funny.
He should have sold it on eBay and bought 3 more galaxy nexuses with it.
What a joke. Bunch of amateurs. I am surprised they didn't just include an iPhone 4s in the case with a Samsung sticker over the Apple logo on the back!

...and have the crappiest Nexus in the world? No, thanks. I prefer a phone loaded with devs software to a fashionable- only POS( i mean, iOS) device.
I'm going to include a WTF report button in our latest GUI...'cause that's just awesome.

So you admit that Apple is evil?
Dumb axx could have sold that phone for a pretty penny on ebay.
I'm waiting with great anticipation for this phone! Getting it ASAP when it releases! My first smartphone that ISN'T crappy!
" including the handy option to 'Report a WTF condition,'"
Hilarious! LOL
There was nothing wrong with it. It just had extra features ^_^
(actually, that'd be pretty cool)
Windows BSOD's should now be referred to as BSOWTF's.
