Intel Desktop IGP Chipsets To See Shortages In Q3
Intel’s upcoming G45 and G43 IGP chipsets are expected to see shortages in the third quarter due to a recent switch in Intel’s production allocation, according to sources at motherboards makers. Intel 4 series IGP chipsets for desktops and notebooks are expected to be in short supply due to the discovery of a defect (now corrected) in the graphics core and well as low yields.
