PCMark05

We had problems with PCMark05. It does not seem to be a real problem as the software could score all of the subcategories yet it refused to calculate a final score. While we could not provide this score, we felt it was important to report what happened.

3DMark05

As you can see from the low- and high-image quality settings, the ABS system did extremely well with systems that are overclocked more than it is. The HD2900 XT generally does better in 3Dmark than the Nvidia GeForce 8800 series, and coupled with a stable overclock, the system did well. When the image quality was turned up, the scores drop but this shows the nature of GeForce 8800 vs. HD 2900. The 8800 was designed around pushing the higher resolution of 2560x1600, while HD 2900 was designed around 1600x1200.
