DualHead2Go In Detail

The DualHead box
The retail package includes the DualHead2Go hardware, a short notebook-to-device connector cable, a software CD, a short VGA cable and a power supply along with cables. The MSRP is $169, but it's also available in retail channels from $140 to $152.
The DualHead2Go unit is a small metal box that measures about 4" square (9.2 cm x 9.5 cm) with three VGA connectors and a power-in port for the power supply. The case has numerous cooling vents. Even after hours of continuous use the unit was only warm to the touch. But we also discovered that the quality of the power supply leaves something to be desired: as soon as the cable is removed, the unit emits a high-pitched squeal.
