Many folks consider $1,000 to be more than just a budget build. Fair enough. It is actually a pretty damn capable gaming machine. This quarter's configuration features AMD's hexa-core FX-6300 processor, an Asus motherboard, and an MSI Radeon HD 7950 graphics card. A cheap quality efficient power supply from Corsair's Builder Series, and great Zalman case makes this rig even more attractive. While a fast SSD boot disk was sacrificed, this build came in under budget by $3,000, and the community seemed to agree that was more than ample for a "budget" build. Congratulations to "Dendrotoxin Deluxe" for being picked by the Tom's Hardware community this quarter!
