Asus RTX 5070 gaming laptop hits an all-time low price of $1,099 — this 16-inch model comes with a Core i7 CPU, plus expandable 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage
Considering the position our PC industry is in right now with AI hijacking every production line, gaming laptops have become even more enticing than before. When 64GB of RAM starts to cost more than a PS5, it doesn't make sense to consider an upgrade on the desktop side. Thankfully, RTX 50-series laptops are still competitive and accessible, and we've spotted a great deal for you: Asus TUF F16 with an RTX 5070 for just $1,099 on Walmart, $400 off from list price, making it the cheapest RTX 5070 laptop we've ever covered.
All-time low price
Thanks to an RTX 5070 and Core i7 processor under the hood, the TUF F16 from Asus is not only a solid performer, but a looker, too, with its sleek and minimal design, paired with decent battery life and an amazing price.
The TUF F16 features a formidable hardware package with a 115W RTX 5070 and an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, combined with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. All of those combine to give this laptop great 1080p gaming performance along with decent 1440p numbers as well if you're willing to crank down the settings. The 16-inch 165 Hz display with Nvidia Advanced Optimus (MUX switch) is perfect for balancing between hardcore gaming sessions versus productivity or casual use.
Speaking of, with moderate tasks, you can easily expect the 90Wh battery to last all day. It's one of the benefits of having a slightly thicker laptop — this one weights 2.2Kg (or 4.85 pounds). You get Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and plenty of fast USB ports for all the connectivity you need, along with an Ethernet plug and HDMI 2.1 port. One of the two M.2 slots is empty for expansion, along with a DIMM slot so you can upgrade to 32GB memory when the DDR-dust has finally settled.

While we haven't reviewed this exact laptop before, benchmarks from a very similarly-spec'd MSI Katana should give you a good idea of how this laptop performs across the board. We did take a look at the RTX 5050 variant, though, and it had an amazing speaker system and very solid build quality, and this 5070 variant shares the same chassis. It's even got a backlit keyboard and comes with three months of Xbox Game Pass, making the Asus TUF F16 a great deal at just $1,099.
