SanDisk acquires Israeli company MDRM

SanDisk on Tuesday said it has acquired Israel-based MDRM, a privately held company that created BookLocker, a product that allows students from kindergarten through high school to carry electronic versions of their textbooks on a device weighing less than 1 ounce.

The transaction was completed on Dec. 2. Terms were not disclosed.
