It’s Black Friday week, but Amazon is already several days into its big sales event, with huge discounts to be had, including deals on several monitors to upgrade your setup. This 27-inch Lenovo gaming monitor is one of them, and it’s one of the cheapest 1440p displays I can find on sale right now (at least, from a reputable brand), if not the cheapest one out there.

You’ll be paying just £129.99 for this Lenovo Legion R27QE monitor, which knocks £70 off the RRP for this particular model. Camelcamelcamel’s data also confirms that, while Amazon has steadily discounted the price, it's now at a new record low.

Lenovo Legion R27QE: was £199.99 now £129.99 at Amazon

This 27-inch Lenovo Legion R27QE is a budget-friendly 1440p gaming monitor with a 200Hz refresh rate. It includes AMD FreeSync certification to help you eliminate screen tearing in-game.

So, what are you getting with this Lenovo display? A 1440p resolution makes this an obvious step-up if you're still rocking a 1080p monitor, but it's also got an IPS panel, which will deliver great viewing angles compared to other rival LCD panel types. The big win, especially if you're considering this for gaming, is the display's 200Hz refresh rate, which will be great for fast-paced gaming.

The faster the refresh rate, the better your monitor will be able to keep up with your GPU's frame rate output without screen tearing. That's also helped by its support for AMD FreeSync, which syncs your refresh rate with your GPU's output. Nvidia G-Sync support isn't mentioned, but we've often seen FreeSync-supported monitors work with G-Sync (and vice versa), although we can't offer any guarantee that it will work here.

Two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4 connections are included, too, so you can hook this up to your PC, handheld, and console, all at the same time. All-in-all, this is a serious spec sheet for a monitor with a £129.99 sale price, even if you're not a gamer. If you're upgrading from an ancient 1080p display, it's almost a no-brainer. Expect this one to sell fast!
