Intel adds new low-voltage mobile processors to its lineup

Santa Clara (CA) - Intel today introduced four new mobile processors for the entry-level and mainstream segment.

The low voltage Pentium M 1.30 GHz and the ultra-low loltage Pentium M 1.10 GHz expand Intel's Centrino platform. The chips offer one MByte L2 cache and a thermal design power (TDP) of 12W and 7W respectively.

Intel also adds a new Celeron M processor at 1.40 GHz and a ultra low voltage Intel Celeron M processor at 900 MHz to its processor family. The chips are rated with a TDP of 24.5W and 7W.

All four processors are available now and are priced at $284 (LV Pentium M 1.30 GHz), $262 (ULV Pentium M 1.10 GHz),$161 (ULV Celeron M 900 MHz), and $134 (Celeron M 1.40 GHz).
