Oppo N1 Hits Europe and the U.S. Right On Time

As promised, the Oppo N1 is now on sale and available in both the United States and Europe. Oppo last week announced plans to release the phone this week, and the device went on sale on December 10.

The phone features a 5.9-inch Full HD IPS display with a swivelling 13-megapixel camera up and is powered by a Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.7 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. The device rund on Android 4.2 but it's also the first phone to ship with official CyanogenMod support.

Aside from support for CM, the Oppo N1's other unique feature is a touch-sensitive panel on the back called the O-Touch. This feature is for scrolling and tapping your way through articles and websites. There's also a Bluetooth remote for taking photos, sounding a distress alarm (for when your phone is lost), and other basic functions.

Pricing is set at $559 in the US and €449 in Europe.
