Huawei's smartphone offers up a 6.1-inch screen.
The device sporting the world's largest phone screen, Huawei's 6.1-inch Ascend Mate smartphone, has been given a price of $575.
With a release scheduled sometime later this month, the Ascend Mate can now be pre-ordered from a Chinese online shop, which has listed it for $575 (yes, international shipping is available).
Powered by Huawei's Hi-Silicon 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, the Ascend Mate runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Alongside an 8-megapixel camera and a 4050mAh battery, the device offers 32 GB of internal storage -- head on over to our hands-on impressions for a good look at this giant.
During CES 2013, Huawei also revealed the Ascend D2, which it claims to be the world's most powerful smartphone. For more on the device, check out our hands-on impressions.

So you're paying $375 for the cell phone modem and the luxury of -0.9 inches of screen?
about £350 over here I think
the razer I is about £200... tbh if it really does have a nice long battery life as I am fed up of finding out at the end of the day that my phone is out of juice and if the screen is large enough for me to use (I have big hands >.
What I haven't yet seen is a plug-in phone module, that just does calling, that slides into a bigger screen. Lets you leave the big screen behind when you don't need it, and keep the smaller phone in your pocket.

Samsung, please make a 4050mAh and fit it into my SGS3's 2100mah size.
A man can dream~
Hoping they'll keep up this trend, make BIGGER batteries. My next phone will definitely have 3,000mAh+
