HP is boosting its backup tape drive portfolio for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMB), including the industry's first digital audio tape (DAT) (define) USB (define) tape drives.
As part of the company's Smart Office initiative, HP unveiled its StorageWorks DAT 72 and DAT 40 USB tape drives, which transfer data using the USB 2.0 interface.
