Enter to Win Our System Builder Marathon PCs
Good luck!
It's that awesome time again! We've ran through Newegg's virtual aisles and have picked out three different configurations for three different but all very capable PCs.
As is our tradition here, when we're done putting them through their paces, we give them away to you guys (at least those of you in the U.S.).
We're right in the middle of our marathon. Get caught up to speed at the links below:
Day 1: The $2,000 Performance PC

Why no love for RI, did THG piss them off or something?..lol
I could do with a new system since my main desktop is pretty much falling to pieces, it's so unstable it hung in Crysis 2.. twice..
Iv'e tried replacing so many parts and it's only down to 2 things left to replace now, CPU and Motherboard.
Too bad I can't enter lol
More like some politicians decided to pass some ridiculous law.
Once again they will say this is a way of saying thanks to there "readers" when only half there actual readers can enter /fail.
Why exclude the canadians? Is there a canadian tomshardware i can start reading?
More like some politicians decided to pass some ridiculous law.
Ahh that's right I remember reading about it...
LET US CANADIANS IN!
I'd gladly pay for the shipping if I won
Cmo'n let Canadains participate.
What if a Canadian wins?^^
Sorry, but I doubt that's going to happen. IIRC, like Rhode Island it's a legal issue, not a "we at Tom's hardware hate Canda, thus we won't allow them to enter" issue.
Sweet! I hope these Marathon keep on going.
US only...

Apparently Crysis2 is littered with bugs and fixes posted online

and all 3 rigs look absolutely delicious
OMG, this is awesome! If I win, maybe I'll be able to play NFS:Hot Pursuit faster than 20 FPS! Woot!!
No love for Canada your northern neighbor?
Shame on you people blaming Tom's for your own State/Country's terrible rules and laws! Shame!
I'd gladly coerce BC to join as the 51st state if it means I can have a shot at the machines
hope I win, running ddr2 ram (4 gb), amd x2 6400+ and a geforce 9500gt :-\
Could you not drill a diametric tunnel from US to India (they're diametrically opposite) and throw a SBM PC down the tunnel ? This'd save you a lot in shipping.
Of course, drilling a 13,000 km tunnel is never going to be easy, but you could always borrow some sentinels. Maybe a tunnel to Zion already exists, which would reduce the time you'll need to drill.
< / daydreaming >
What about me ?
I am from México
! I want to participate too !
3 nice systems needing new homes.
Good luck to us all.
why toms is always favour for u.s reader......why not give away fro international reader toms learn some thing from technobuffalo.com.
"Contest is limited to residents of the USA"

usa only?
I live in the US and I thing that is bullshit.
are we not the county that despises discrimination, yet toms is for it.
A question: If someone wins, can he enter the contest again in the future?
Really bugging me!
I'd gladly pay for the shipping if I won
I think it's the legal fees, not the shipping, that's prohibitive
All three computers look nice, although now that I look at all of them the cases seem oddly poor for what they carry inside. I'd gladly switch the interiors of both my current and one of those rigs around though.
That's a nanny state for you, you folks in the "Great White North" are lucky you're even allowed to play all those "violent" computer games, eh... ya Hosers
, from the tree of knowledge.
Im sure anyone of us would happily pay the shipping fees to Canada if we were to win. Toms should really offer that option. (Actually, most US only contests should.)
