3DMark05
In 3DMark05 it is clear that the faster components on the BFG GeForce 8800GTS OC will beat the reference clocked version. Where we see the newcomer falter is at the higher resolutions with image quality turned up. We tested at all resolutions with antialiasing and anisotropic filtering disabled in the first run. The second run has the image quality settings at 4xAA (antialiasing) and 8xAF (anisotropic filtering). It is here on the second run that the 320 MB version falls below the reference 640 MB version at 2048x1536 and much further behind at 2560x1600.
