Aerocool, a Taiwanese manufacturer, has announced two new PC enclosures. Both of the enclosures make part of the Templarius series, the Ferrum and Telum. The Templarius family is specifically aimed at gamers and enthusiasts, and it will consist of not only PC cases, but also peripherals such as mice keyboards and headsets.
The Ferrum enclosure only comes in one color scheme, black and white. The material used to build the enclosure is 0.5 mm thick SGCC steel. The enclosure will be large enough to house all high-end graphics cards up to 400 mm in length, including the GeForce GTX 690 and the Radeon HD 7990.
The Telum chassis comes in two color schemes, a full black version or a white version with black accents. The material used for this enclosure is also 0.5 mm thick, but is SPCC steel instead of SGCC steel. It also features an acrylic side window. The Telum ships with two pre-mounted 120 mm fans. Moreover, the Telum has a built in fan controller with three settings; Full speed (12 V), Slow (5 V), or completely off for absolute silence.
Both cases' motherboard trays have a CPU backplate cutout and cable management holes. They also have support for up to 10 fans, tool-free mounting for 5.25", 3.5", and 2.5" drives, pre-drilled water cooling holes and a dust filter for the PSU.
Both the enclosures are already available on the European market, US availability remains unknown. Pricing ranges from 45 to 55 Euro, which by todays exchange rates is roughly $60 to $74.
