With all the Pine Trail lovin' we'll be seeing over the next few weeks, it's nice to see a big name company going for an ARM processor. Based on Snapdragon, this little machine boasts a 10.1-inch (1,280 x 720) display, 20GB of flash storage, 2GB of cloud storage, an 8GB miniSD card, 2xUSB, WiFi, the obligatory 1.3 megapixel camera and a battery that Lenovo says lasts 10 hours on a full charge. The whole thing weighs in at a little under two pounds.
Engadget reports that the the unit will ship this April preloaded with 18 web gadgets (including portals to Amazon MP3, Facebook, Gmail and YouTube). The device will also be available through AT&T but it's unclear whether or not the carrier will subsidize the Skylight if you're willing to sign a contract.
The price for the device is set at $499 (MSRP). A little steep but not insane for a high-end netbook.
